Von frostigen Bushaltestellen zu strahlendem Sonnenaufgang – Mein 12. November in 12 Bildern

They say the journey is the destination, and on this November 12th the journey was full of surprises, detours, and even a few pretty good moments. From the chilly morning air to the warm cream soup in Zurich – and finally an exciting start in New York – life once again showed that it’s a roller coaster. But hey, who doesn’t love a little drama, some cloud selfies, and a hotline challenge?
Here’s my day in 12 pictures, with a wink and a reminder that even in chaos there are beautiful stories.
Every beginning is cold, but it always takes us further.
The day starts early and frosty – I’m on my way to the airport. My hat is my savior while I wait at the bus stop. Cold, but full of anticipation for the day ahead!
November landscape from the bus
The ride feels like a little gift: the bus rolls through a magical November landscape. The sun shines through the trees, and I just have to take a photo. How beautiful this month can be! Okay, not the best photo.
Lufthansa hotline – everything but hot!
Phew, the day just got more exciting. My flight was canceled, and I’m stuck in the Lufthansa hotline queue. Nothing against technology, but why does this feel so little like hot? Fingers crossed it moves forward!
When life gives you waiting time, make something with coffee out of it.
Four hours of waiting? Perfect opportunity to open the laptop and get a bit of work done. With coffee (almost) everything is better – at least today the airport Wi-Fi is on my side.
Finally on board! This smile is hard-earned.
Behind every selfie lies a story of arrival.
