Making science accessible to as many people as possible is my greatest motivation. Therefore, I love supporting researchers in finding creative ways to communicate their science in an understandable way.

🖤Mika Magyarosi 🖤

Equal Opportunities Officer

I love contributing to a vibrant everyday life – always keeping my own needs and priorities in mind. I particularly enjoy working with people who are sleeping, working, and eating, and I like to show them when it's time to focus on what's important (me).

Personal profile

DOB: 01/04/2007 DOD: 02/09/2025 🖤

Studies: Feline behavioral research with specialization in sleep optimization and human attention control (Master FL) FL=Feline Legends – an honorary title for cats.

Tübingen

2007 – Born in a cozy cardboard box, he quickly realized that meow is the universal language of the world. His first big challenge: finding the perfect food source.

2010 – Tübingen was chosen as his adopted home to perfect the art of sleeping, cardboard science and strategic disruption.

2015 – Started a career as an equal opportunity officer, with great success in the unequal distribution of treats and attention.

2023 – Working full-time as a sun worshipper, cuddler, and meow consultant. New challenges: finding even smaller boxes and optimizing the perfect timing for late-night lectures.

2025 Mika has taken her duties to a new level—now as an omniscient observer with a direct line to the cosmic secrets of cats. Since February 2025, she has been giving her nightly lectures from another dimension, but if you listen closely, you might still hear her purring. We miss you!
